A powerful opening quarter from the currently unbeaten Enfield Mercenaries set the tone for the game with a blistering period which saw storm to a 28-11 lead. Knights already on the backfoot lost Edd Gregory to injury. After a short break in which he received treatment for his knee, Mercs capitalized on their advantage forging further ahead, a Jeff Ee three pointer a bright spot as the lead stretched to 51-23 at the break.
Enfield showed no mercy in the second half continuing their dominance with a devastating performance, and as is their way the points were distributed throughout the team, Knights struggling to hold them at bay, the men in black eventually running out 97-41 winners to make a statement first silverware in the Herts League.
