At North Herts Knights, we compete at National League Conference level at U12, U14, U16 and U18 level, alongside CVL teams in selected age groups.

With the continued growth of basketball and increasing competition for places, we hold annual trials to select players for the upcoming season.

Trial Format

Each age group will have two trial dates, with players only required to attend one. While we’ll aim to honour your preferred date, some players may be allocated a specific session to ensure balanced numbers — we’ll let you know in advance if this applies.

Registration (Required)

All players — including current Knights players — must pre-register. Walk-ins may not be accepted. Please note that being part of a NHK team in 2025/26 does not guarantee selection for 2026/27.

Trial Fee

A £10 fee applies per player, payable on the day (cash or card). Current NHK National League players are exempt.

Can’t Make It?

If you’re unavailable for both trial dates, please get in touch — we may be able to offer an alternative.

On the Day

Trials are closed to parents. Players should be dropped off at the foyer, where NHK staff will check them in. Please ensure prompt collection at the end of the session.
