An operational supporting role was proposed to help manage referees and table officials. John Arnold volunteered to oversee officiating requirements and coordinate qualification pathways for referees, table officials, and coaches.
The committee successfully appointed a new Chair and filled key new roles designed to improve governance, communication, safeguarding, senior team structure, parental engagement, community development, and representation for women and girls. These appointments significantly strengthen the club’s leadership and support framework.
Additionally administrative positions have been discussed, but yet to be fulfilled.
We confirmed the club was founded in 2001, meaning next year we celebrate 25 years, an important milestone that should be celebrated with a fundraiser/fun day with potential tie in the Letchworth festival in June 2026. A subgroup will be formed to organise this effort.
