23/11/2025 – NHK U16 Blue @ Oaklands Wolves
NHK produced a highly impressive team performance, using their superior size and strength to overcome a spirited Oaklands side and move to 3–3 for the season. Every player contributed with strong effort on both offence and defence.
Despite a clear height disadvantage, Oaklands stayed competitive early by shooting an excellent 50% from three in the first half. NHK, however, remained committed to attacking the basket, consistently finding points inside or drawing fouls. As Oaklands’ outside shooting cooled — with both teams eventually finishing at similar three-point percentages — NHK’s pressure began to tell. Maintaining their intensity throughout, they steadily extended the lead and closed out the game 93–62.
The stats only ever tell part of the story, but the team leaders were:
* Points scored: Manos (24)
* Rebounds: Tariq (15)
* Assists: Coady (10)
A special mention goes to Tariq for securing a double-double, and to Coady, who recorded his first ever triple-double.
