Knights U12 players bring home trophy for their county

On the 4th July 2026 a basketball competition took place in Essex university. 5 teams competed to come first including Hertfordshire, Essex, Suffolk, Norfolk and Cambridge.

Me and 2 of my friends/teammates from the basketball club North Herts Knights were elected by our coach for trials to represent Hertfordshire.

In the trials me and Zeby were chosen to play for the A team and Alec for the B team.

As preparation for the tournament I attended 3 training sessions to get to know each other and work out how to work as a team.

Both the A and B team came out victorious winning all their games and taking home the trophy.

It was a great and fun day out and I felt proud to represent my county.
